The government of Nepal has given a public holiday on the occasion of Eid.
The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a public notice today and said that June 29 is a public holiday due to the Eid-ul-Azha festival.
According to the notification issued by the Ministry's spokesperson Kedarnath Sharma, as per the notification published in the Nepal Gazette, it has been decided to give a public holiday on Thursday as Eid-ul-Azha is the festival of Islam.
