Police arrested a youth on charge of raping an 18-year-old teenager from Rautamai Rural Municipality-7 in Udayapur district.
The accused has been identified as Nirjal Kepchakri Magar (28) of Ranibas in the same rural municipality.
Magar allegedly raped the teenager on July 13. Based on the information about the incident, security personnel deployed from the Sukaura-based Police Office nabbed him immediately.
Further investigation into the case is underway, said the police.
