Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane will be allowed to play cricket in foreign lands. He will be allowed to play after the Supreme Court heard in his favor on Monday and released him.
The joint bench of Judge Sapna Malla Pradhan and Kumar Chundal upheld the order of the High Court to release Lamichhane on a bond of 2 million.
The Supreme Court has also ordered the release of Sandeep's suspended passport. Sandeep will have to appear in court within 15 days after the end of the game, excluding the time limit for travel. The court has also ordered to inform Sandeep that this facility will be withdrawn if he violates this condition.
The court has also ordered District Court Kathmandu to put the case on fast track.
