The government has decided to close schools across the country till January 30 due to the increasing infection of coronavirus.
A meeting of the Covid-19 Crisis Management Coordination Center (CCMCC) held on Sunday decided to close the schools, said spokesperson Sunita Nepal.
"We have decided to extend the winter break in some schools till January 29. It is expected to break the chain of transmission," she said. "We have already made recommendations to the concerned ministries for implementation of the decision."
