Police have arrested two persons from Chaulagai Hotel at Birendranagar Municipality-6 Bus Park on Wednesday afternoon with brown sugar. Among the arrested are 21-year-old Prakash Budha and 20-year-old Dipendra Thapa of the same municipality. Police from the Karnali State Police Office, Drug Bureau and District Police Office, Surkhet, arrested the suspects on the basis of information that drugs were being traded at the hotel.
Dang:
Dipendra Khadka, 26, of Haapur in Ghorahi Sub-Metropolis-12 has been arrested on Wednesday afternoon along with 1 gram 380 mg of gray heroin-like substance from Gulariya. Police from the District Police Office, Dang, found him with the drugs during patrol and arrested him.
Syangja:
Police have arrested 22-year-old Pawan GC, a resident of Syangja, Arjunchaupari-1 on Wednesday afternoon. Police from Arjun Chaupari police post searched Pawan's house and found 7.5 kilograms of cannabis hidden in his possession.
Jhapa:
In Birtamod Municipality-4, Police have arrested two persons from Omshanti Tole on Wednesday evening along with 3 grams of brown sugar. Among the arrested are 21-year-old Hasina Mandal and 18-year-old Kishor of the same municipality. Birtabazar police patrol found them with the substance and arrested them.
Bajura:
Harka Bahadur Rawat, 40, of Lamgaun in Bajura, Khaptad has been arrested by the police on Wednesday night with 10 kilograms if cannabis. His jeep (Se 1 Ja 609) was being searched by the police from Dogadi police post when they found the substance in the jeep.
Police are conducting further investigations in these drug-related cases.
