The government has blacklisted seven construction companies. The Public Procurement Monitoring Office issued a notice today stating that the construction has not been completed as per the agreement.
A meeting of the office held on Wednesday had decided to blacklist the construction companies for one to three years as per sub-section (1) of section 63 of the Public Procurement Act, 2063 BS with effect from today.
Diagnosis Jay Shambhu JV of Handigaun in Kathmandu has been blacklisted for three years on the recommendation of Arya Construction Pvt. Ltd. in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu and for two years on the recommendation of Rapti Health Sciences Institute in Ghorahi, Dang. Green Tech Project Pvt. Ltd. in Anamnagar, SNC Construction Services Pvt. Ltd. in Sonari, Banke and Shah Construction Services Company in Rupandehi, Lumbini have been blacklisted for one year each. According to the office, the agreement reached before the blacklisting will continue.
