The Nisdi village municipality of Palpa is going to provide social security allowance to single men. Announcing the budget along with policies and programs through the 11th Village Assembly, Village Municipality Chairman Mukta Bahadur Saru said that social security allowance would be provided to single men over the age of 60 living in the municipality.
In addition, social security allowance will be provided to persons with class C disabilities as well. As per the policy of the government, social security allowance has been provided to persons with disabilities who have obtained 'A' and 'B' class identity cards.
Chief Administrative Officer of the Village Municipality, Raju Nepal, informed that the social security allowance program has been included in the policy and program and the allowance will be given from July 20. According to him, the working procedure will be distributed at the rate of Rs.
The village municipality has made public its policy and program for the coming fiscal year 2079/80 with a budget of Rs. 649.86 million.
