Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal Syed Haider Shah on Thursday paid a courtesy call on Speaker of House of Representatives (HoR) Agni Prasad Sapkota at the latter's office in Singha Durbar.
Wishing for the successful tenure of Ambassador Shah, Speaker Sapkota said that the two countries have experienced a very cordial relation during the 61 years of their diplomatic ties.
Stating that the Federal Parliament has the Nepal-Pakistan Parliamentary Friendship Group, Speaker Sapkota viewed for deepening bilateral relations at the parliament level while calling for identifying the common areas for prosperity of the two countries.
Similarly, Ambassador Shah stated that the two countries have enjoyed a long, historical and cultural relations at the people to people level as well. Ambassador Shah also pledged for enhancing cooperation in bilateral trade and others during his tenure.
