Lumbini Chief Minister Kul Prasad KC has said that the state government is committed to fulfill the responsibility given by the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal 2015 AD.
He said that the state government was committed to play the role of coordination between the federal and local levels as per the constitution of Nepal 2015 AD. Addressing the Republic Day 2022 Special Ceremony organized by the state government in Butwal today, Chief Minister KC said that the 29th of May, the day when the sovereign Nepali people got their rights, would last forever as a momentous change and historical event.
He said that it was necessary to work in a way to change the living standards of the citizens by implementing the basic rights including education, health, food security, drinking water, sanitation, environment protection in a practical manner as per the provisions of the constitution.
Chief Minister KC said that the establishment of the Republic of Nepal was possible only through the important sacrifices, austerities and sacrifices of the Nepali people and it was the duty and right of all the people of the state to make the Federal Democratic Republic even stronger. He said that the state government has moved ahead with a planned program to end all kinds of discrimination and harassment due to class, ethnic, regional, linguistic, religious and gender.
Stating that the republic should be developed as the best system of livelihood of the people, Chief Minister KC stressed on the need to make the republic prosperous as it is a dynamic system of good governance.
