State government committed towards protection of culture and literature

Madhes Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut has said that the state government is committed to the protection of culture and literature. Inaugurating the third edition of 'Nabil Bank Janakpur Sahitya Mahotsav 2022' in Janakpurdham today, Chief Minister Raut said that the state government was serious as it was the responsibility of the government to promote the preservation of language, culture and literature.

"The state government is committed to the protection of culture and literature," Raut said. "We are committed to the protection and promotion of all languages, cultures and literature." He pledged that the state government would extend all possible support for the preservation of culture and literature.

The festival, organized by Mithila Foundation Nepal, will continue till March 6, according to the organizers. According to the organizing committee, senior writer Khagendra Sangraula will give a solo presentation on 'Madhes, Literature and Me' on the first day of the festival.

Analyst Roshan Janakpuria, writer Gopal Ask and Renu Gupta are scheduled to comment on the working paper on literary writing in Madhes presented by Shyam Sundar Yadav, chairperson of Madhes Pradesh Mass Media Authority on March 6, said program coordinator Priyanka Jha.

Similarly, analysts Dr Ramesh Koirala, Professor Dr Sushma Dwivedi, analyst Tulanarayan Sah, Pawan Mandal and other experts are scheduled to discuss working papers on 'Discrimination in Society', 'Entrepreneurs in Madhes and Industry of Madhes' and 'Education Culture'.

Similarly, State Assembly Member Manju Yadav, journalist Salma Khatun, Elijah Dhakal, Chameli Devi Das and politicians Sarita Giri, analyst Sike Lal and Hari Sharma will comment on 'Women and Politics' on March 6. .

Similarly, Member of the House of Representatives Binod Chaudhary, Member of the National Assembly Dr. Vimala Rai Poudel and General Secretary of the Nepali Congress and Member of the House of Representatives Gagan Thapa will give presentations on the working paper on 'Madhes: An Opportunity'.
