A total of 66 students in Jang and Halji of Namkha Rural Municipality-6 in Humla district have been provided with stationery materials.
Each student was provided with 16 notebooks, 15 pencils, pens, and other materials, said Kunjok Lama, Education Officer at Aadhar Nepal, an organisation based in Humla. The schools in Humla have begun their operations on the physical presence of teachers and students after a long period. The schools here were closed due to risk following the COVID-19 pandemic.
The stationery materials are expected to help improve the educational quality here, said Lama, expressing happiness over the in-kind support to the students in remote places of Humla.
The students here in two schools are also motivated with the support, according to Lama.
