The District Administration Office, Surkhet, has decided to implement 'bar' system from Sunday to facilitate public services. The administration has stated that the bar system has been implemented to manage the service flow as the office is crowded amid the surge of COVID.
Ram Bahadur Budha, administrative officer of the district administration office, said that a 'bar' system has been set up to provide services related to citizenship, national identity cards, voter registration with photos, and electronic passport.
According to him, shifts have been fixed for service recipients of Lekbenshi Municipality, Birendranagar Municipality and Panchpuri Municipality on Sunday and Friday, Birendranagar Municipality on Tuesday, Bheriganga Municipality, Chingad Municipality and Barahatal Municipality on Monday and Tuesday, Gurbhakot Municipality, Simta Municipality and Chowkune Municipality on Wednesday and Thursday.
The administration has requested the concerned service recipients to bring vaccination cards or a photo of it on their mobile phones.
As the corona infection is on the rise in Surkhet, the 'Where is Your Mask?' campaign has been re-launched. A public awareness campaign has been launched in Birendranagar from today under the auspices of the District COVID Crisis Management Center (DCCMC).
