Koshi Province Chief Parshuram Khapung appointed the Nepali Congress Province Parliamentary Party leader, Uddhav Thapa, as the Koshi province chief minister, today.
In line with the Article 168 (2) of the Nepal Constitution, Province Chief Khapung appointed Thapa as the chief minister.
Province Chief Khapung also extended congratulations and best wishes to the newly-appointed chief minister Thapa.
Thapa is scheduled to take oath of office of the chief minister at 10.30 am on Wednesday. ---
