Three persons were killed in a road accident at Ainapahara of Aanbukhaireni Gaonpalika-2 on the Prithvi Highway this afternoon. The deceased have been identified as a woman and two men, according to the District Police Office, Tanahu.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Yuvraj Khadka informed that the name of the deceased has not been revealed. He said that the injured have been shifted to Chitwan for further treatment.
The bus (Ga 2 Kha 307) heading towards Aabukhaireni from Mugling and the Tata Sumo (Ga 3 Cha 6012) heading in the opposite direction had collided with each other. Among the injured, Naula was sent to the old medical college in Chitwan for further treatment. The injured have been identified as Damodar Puri, 80, of Shuklagandaki Municipality, Devika Thapa Magar, 28, of Aabukhaireni Gaonpalika-4, Aarti Khawas, 18, of the same place and Dinmaya Nepali, 38, of Gandaki Gaonpalika-1 of Gorkha.
Similarly, Hira Basel, 33, of Aabukhaireni Gaonpalika-3, Jitendra Shahi, 33, of Shuklagand Municipality, Goma Shahi, 52, of the same place, Dinu Shahi, 41, Ram Shahi, 52, of Pokhara Metropolitan City of Kaski and Gyanu Shahi, 52 were injured.
