Three persons have died from COVID-19 in Chitwan district today. The deceased include an 80-year-old man of Birgunj Metropolitan City-17, an 85-year-old man of Makawanpur and a 75-year-old man of Sundarbazaar Municipality-2 in Lamjung.
The elderly person of Birgunj was admitted to Bharatpur hospital on April 22 and died in course of treatment at the COVID intensive care unit of the hospital this morning.
Similarly, the elderly person of Sundarbazaar was admitted to the hospital on April 23 and died this morning in course of treatment.
Admitted to Old Medical College after suffering from pneumonia on April 24, the elderly person of Makawanpur died in course of treatment early this morning. He tested positive for coronavirus on the same day.
