Two rhinoceros have been killed in a tiger attack at Sishuwar buffer zone of Chitwan National Park (CNP). The killed ones are an adult rhinoceros and its calf.
Conservation officer at CNP Hari Bhadra Acharya informed that the female rhino of around 22 years of age and its four-month old female calf were found dead. They might have been attacked by a tiger as they were found pierced and scratched, he added. Their horn and hooves are safe.
