Chairperson of CPN (Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal, has said foreign investment must be attracted to create and increase employment within the country. Upon his return home from foreign visits for nearly two weeks, former Prime Minister Nepal viewed Nepalis living abroad are willing to invest in Nepal. Necessary laws and policy must ensure security to their investment in Nepal, he emphasized. According to him, the Non-Resident Nepalis were for investing in Nepal's industrial development and infrastructures so that it contributes hugely to employment generation and prop up the national economy. Leader Nepal returned home from Australia and New Zealand visits on Wednesday. He shared that he was happy to hear that the NRNs were willing to invest in Nepal for the progress here. He met with NRNs reaching various cities during his visit. On a different note, leader Nepal commented that the budget was focused more on Gorkha, Nuwakot and Dadeldhura, so he would seek clarification from the government in this regard. He further said he saw mixed reaction to the recent India visit of PM Dahal. Nepal shared that he would discuss with ruling party leaders on the PM's India visit.
