Today's second meeting of the House of Representatives was adjourned after the quorum needed to pass the bill was not reached.
Today's first meeting was also adjourned due to insufficient quorum. After Nepal Mazdoor Kisan Party MP Prem Suwal raised the question of quorum in the meeting, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota instructed to ring the bell for three minutes and count it.
At the time of counting, the quorum should be 69, but the attendance was only 67, and today's agenda was removed, and the next meeting was scheduled for July 31st. The quorum was not enough to present the "Public Debt Management Bill, 2079" submitted by Finance Minister Janardan Sharma.
