The main opposition party CPN (UML) has interrupted the National Assembly meeting today, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal .
The UML interrupted the National Assembly meeting due to the statement made by Prime Minister Dahal a few days ago. UML MP Bhairav Sundar Shrestha said that Prime Minister Dahal's statement that Sardar Pritam Singh went to India several times to make himself the Prime Minister has hurt Nepal's national pride and national independence.
He informed the Chairman of the National Assembly that the Parliament will not be allowed to function until the Prime Minister resigns.
As the protests of UML MPs continue, the National Assembly meeting has been postponed and will be held on Friday.
