Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said unparliamentary and undemocratic activities have surfaced in the country following the dissolution of the House of Representatives.
Addressing the nation on Friday, PM Oli said the malpractices in the politics witnessed during the early 90s has tried to resurface.
He argued that the House of the Representatives was dissolved only after going through the criteria for the formation of the new government as per the order issued by the supreme court on February 23 last year.
While addressing the nation, Prime Minister Oli also promised to vaccinate all eligible citizens against COVID-19. He said vaccines would be managed for those waiting for the booster dose as well as for others who are yet to take the first dose of vaccine.
He insisted on global collaboration to address the issue, stating that entire plans of the developing countries had been affected in the absence of proportional distribution of vaccines,
Speaking of the need for integrated, coordinated and comprehensive national policy to fight the pandemic, the Prime Minister said the implementation of prohibitory order was for saving the lives of people from the virus. The Prime Minister also assured of taking stern action against anyone involved in any form of assaults on health/medical workers.
