Members of the lower and upper houses of the US Congress are scheduled to pay a three-day visit to Nepal. A delegation comprising Senators Corey Booker, Mark Kelly, Kristen Gilbrand and Mondry Jones are leaving for Nepal on Friday.
The members of the delegation that will arrive here this Friday will stay in Nepal till next Sunday.
This visit is considered important as a congressional delegation is visiting Nepal on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Nepal-US diplomatic relations. A statement from the office of Senator Corey Booker stated that the delegation would visit Poland, the United Arab Emirates, India, Nepal and Germany.
The visit will focus on Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
