The 14th International Vulture Awareness Day is being celebrated a week from today. According to Bird Conservation Nepal, awareness day will be celebrated to spread the message of vulture conservation through local partners, media and social platforms by conducting 33 programs in 18 districts. In this regard, a regular vulture count will be conducted on the same day and at the same time in all the districts of the vulture range. Likewise, a vulture hike/count and bird watching program will be held in Kakani on Saturday and an interactive vulture awareness booth will also be held at the central zoo in Jawalakhel.
Giddha theater play by students of CYF Nepal on "Giddha the Misunderstood Bird" will be performed on September 4th at Budhanilkanth.
