Police on Sunday arrested a youth on charge of raping a six-year-old minor girl in Triyuga Municipality-8, Udayapur district.
The accused has been identified as Dilu Rokka (20) of Saptakoshi Municipality-1, Saptari district.
Rokka allegedly raped the minor on Saturday evening. Acting on a tip-off, a team deputed from Udayapur-based District Police Office (DPO) apprehended Rokka.
Further investigation into the case is underway, informed DPO.
