A youth has been arrested with 1.94 gm of heroin from Madhuwan Municipality-5 in Bardiya district on Wednesday morning.
The arrested has been identified as Kiran Thapa (22), a local resident of the same municipality in the district.
Thapa allegedly had been smuggling the heroin. Acting on a tip-off, Dhodhari-based Area Police Office personnel nabbed him with the substance.
Further investigation into the case is underway, said the police.
