Nepali Congress is leading the vote count in the elections held for the post of member of the House of Representatives in Rasuwa. According to the results as of 5 am, out of 5,722 votes counted, Mohan Acharya of Congress has received 3,350 votes.
His nearest rival is Tshewang Tamang of CPN (UML), who has received 2,140 votes. Altogether 151 votes were deemed invalid.
Similarly, Prabhat Lama of Congress has got 1033 votes while Kul Prasad Bhatt of UML got 943 votes out of 2057 votes counted in Provincial Assembly 'A' seat.
The counting of votes of the election of members of the House of Representatives and the Provincial Assembly held on Sunday started from Monday night only.
