The Rastriya Prajatantra Party - Nepal (RPP-N) and the Nepal Parivar Dal have signed a memorandum of understanding with the CPN (UML) today. In the presence of UML senior vice-chairman Ishwor Pokharel and RPP-N chairperson Kamal Thapa, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Devendra Dahal, chief of UML's local development department, Sushil Kumar Shrestha, chief of RPP-Nepal's local body mobilization department and Santosh Kumar Poudel, general secretary of Parivar Dal.
The parties have agreed to coordinate in all possible places across the country and to support the UML candidate in the places where they do not have their own candidates. It has been mentioned that, even if elected, a person will remain in their own party. Local level elections are being held on May.
