Chairperson of CPN UML and former Prime Minister, KP Sharma Oli, has said he is willing to forgive all party members who had erred in their decisions in the past.
While speaking during a programme organised to mark the Pushpa Lal Memorial Day today, Oli mentioned that he would grant amnesty to all party members who had made mistakes in the past. He said the amnesty is being granted to maintain unity within the party and take forward the revolution started by the party.
Chairperson Oli mentioned that it was necessary to have unity within the party as it was the only way that the party could carry forward its revolution.
Apparently, the CPN UML Central Committee meeting had sought clarifications from 22 lawmakers including senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal for voting in favour of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is also president of Nepali Congress, during the vote of confidence at the House of Representatives.
