Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has called a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Sunday. The Speaker convened a meeting of theAdvisory Committee at a time when the opposition was not able to move ahead on the regular agenda due to the continuous obstruction of the parliament by CPN (UML) even though the session of the Federal Parliament was in progress.
According to Speaker Sapkota's press expert Shridhar Neupane, a meeting of the Advisory Committee will be convened at 11 am on Sunday at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor.
A meeting of the federal parliament has been called for Sunday at 1 pm. The probable agenda of the meeting is to pay homage to all known and unknown martyrs on the occasion of Martyrs' Day. Similarly, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will present the third annual report of the Tharu Commission for the fiscal year 2021/22.
Similarly, Speaker Sapkota has set a possible agenda to pay homage to Jagat Bahadur Tajpuriya, a member elected from the proportional party in the Constituent Assembly in 2007/8.
