Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand and Finance Minister Janardan Sharma have held a discussion on election budget.
According to Dr Bhishma Kumar Bhusal, Chief Joint Secretary of the Policy, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Division, the meeting held at the Ministry of Home Affairs today also discussed the election-targeted budget, especially the vehicles and provisions required for the security forces (Nepal Police and Armed Police Force).
According to Joint Secretary Dr Bhusal, the Ministry of Home Affairs will confirm the current budget by Thursday and send it to the Ministry of Finance.
Home Secretary Teknarayan Pandey, Finance Secretary Madhu Marasini and Chief Joint Secretary of the Home Ministry's Security and Coordination Division Mukunda Niraula were present at the discussion. Home Minister Khand has discussed with Finance Minister Sharma to move the election work forward in a concentrated manner.
Finance Minister Sharma had informed the Ministry of Finance about the pressures in the election and requested to inform about the urgent and necessary issues.
Home Minister Khand informed that the Ministry of Home Affairs is aware of the pressure on Ministry of Finance and will be informed about the necessary issues.
Home Minister Khand held a discussion with the Finance Minister after Nepal Police and Armed Police Force demanded vehicles and provisions for the election.
