CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has urged the Maoist forces to make a fresh start by reflecting on new knowledge and experience gained from past mistakes and weaknesses.
Though he had forged unity with the then CPN-UML with the positive intention it did not yield good results, Dahal admitted, expressing readiness to make changes in the course taking lessons from past mistakes.
Launching a collection of songs 'Sapanako Pandulipi/Manuscript of Dreams' composed in commemoration of the people's war, he called for the divided Maoist parties and partners of the people's war to doublethink for collaboration.
Sharing that efforts were underway to bring together all leaders and cadres of the Maoist movement for the shared cause, leader Dahal urged all the concerned forces to enable a positive environment to that end.
Recalling that the leaders of the ruling collation have been repeatedly asking questions as to what he achieved after forging unity with KP Oli, he said, "I have gained knowledge after merging unity with Oli".
The former prime minister said that the wrong electoral system and forms of governance can be changed with the rigorous mobilisation of people on the backing of left and Maoist forces.
