Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh has said that local elections should be held on time.
At the public launch of Dr Mita Singh's book 'The Struggle of Ganeshman Singh' on Saturday, Singh said that local level elections should be held on time.
He reminded that the government of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN-UML), which had won a two-thirds majority, had failed to act as per the mandate given by the people and had formed an alliance to bring the constitution on track.
"This is not a coalition government, we have not forgotten its background," said Singh.
