CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has directed its parliamentarians to present the stances of the party in the government's policy and program in a strong manner.
In his address to a meeting of the CPN (UML)'s parliamentary party meeting at the parliament building in New Baneswor today, he instructed the parliamentarians to strongly articulate the party's stances on the policy and program to be discussed in parliament from Sunday onward.
"UML's role has become weak. So, our role needs to be strong in the parliament. Be effective in articulating the party's position in the parliament in the given time", Oli instructed.
He said they would not allow the government to endorse its annual policy and program from the parliament.
Oli argued that the government-introduced policy and program was unclear, confusing, and directionless so it would not address any problems persisting on the political, social, and economic fronts. ---
