The Nepali Congress has voiced objection over the decision of the Kathmandu University Senate giving affiliation to the MBBS programme of the proposed B&C College based in Jhapa.
The NC's Education Department, through a press release today, charged that the government has interfered in making this decision by going against the Acts, Regulations and agreements which it had reached at different times.
The press release undersigned by Department's secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel also cautioned the government against building undue political pressure infringing on the autonomy of the university by bypassing the due process.
