Prabhat Tamang of the Nepali Congress has won as a member of the Provincial Assembly from Rasuwa Region No. 1. His closest rival, Kul Prasad Bhatt of CPN (UML) has received 4,772 votes.
There were eight candidates including an independent woman in that area.
