Nepali Congress's Rajendra Bajgain was elected the House of Representatives member from Gorkha constituency 1.
He received 33,428 votes while his nearest rival CPN-UML's Ram Sharan Basnet 16,785, said assistant election officer Gokarna Raj Panta.
