Nepali Congress has expressed its concern regarding the criminal case that has been registered against its member Narottam Baidhya, who is a lawmaker at the National Assembly of Bagmati Province. Parliamentary party leader, Indra Baniya, has mentioned that the party will fight against the case that has been registered against Baidhya at the National Assembly.
Anil Kafle of the Youth Association had registered a case at the District Police Office, Makawanpur, citing that Baidhya, who had made derogatory remarks against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the National Assembly, had incited others to murder with his remarks.
Meanwhile, during a press meet today, Baniya stated that a legal case cannot be registered against anyone for speaking anything inside the National Assembly. He said that the Nepali Congress will oppose this move strongly at the National Assembly.
