Chairperson of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has said he established a new political party in order to maintain rule of law by campaigning against corruption, irregularities, and poverty.
Addressing a programme organised to administer the oath of office to the new leaders and cadres of the party and the district level cadres' meeting in Hetauda on Saturday, Chairperson Nepal reiterated that the new party was formed with a pious aim of working for the country and people. He further asserted that the CPN (US) will win people's confidence soon.
Also the former prime minister, the Chairperson further claimed that his party would form the government in Bagmati Province within few days. On the occasion, lawmaker and central member of the party Birodh Khatiwada accused leader KP Oli of being the reason behind the party split. The leaders and cadres with Oli will finally join CPN (US), according to him.
Another central member Munu Sigdel viewed that the CPN (US) was established for good governance.
