Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli who has taken charge of additional seven ministries has offered Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal to join the government. He is said to have offered three ministerial berths to JSP-N.
As the President has dissolved the House of Representatives and announced the dates of mid-term polls to be held in two phases, PM Oli has now focused on arrangement for governing the ministries.
Likewise, the JSPN leaders Mahantha Thakur and Rajendra Mahato have also been holding discussion as Oli has called for the JSP-N to join the government.
According to a JSP-N leader, PM Oli has offered three ministries to the party. Meanwhile, the discussion was underway to decide on who would take charges of which ministries.
It has been learnt that the leaders' name proposed to take the ministerial berth include Uma Shankar Aragriya and Bimal Bimal Srivastava, who were close to Upendra Yadav and Baburam Bhattarai, and joined the faction led by Thakur.
President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers has dissolved the House of Representatives (HoR) and announced the dates for mid-term elections. The mid-term elections will be held in two stages on November 12 and 19.
