Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed his reservation to the incidents that surfaced in the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting on Sunday.
Speaking at the meeting of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Parliamentary Party at the PM's official residence held this evening, PM Oli remarked that the HoR meeting was not conducted as per the parliamentary procedures and practices.
According to parliamentary party chief whip NCP in the National Assembly Khimlal Bhattarai, PM Oli expressed his dissatisfaction as the Speaker of HoR did not consult with Business Advisor Committee prior to the meeting.
Bhattarai further stated that the PM has shared about the future roadmap developed after the court’s verdict on the authenticity of the NCP.
According to Bhattarai, Prime Minister Oli expressed his views in the meeting to forward the party unification process following the new standards after correcting past weaknesses.
Bhattarai added that the meeting concluded to implement today’s court decision.
