Senior leader of Nepali Congress, Ram Chandra Poudel, has called a meeting focusing on the party’s 14th general convention that is to be held from September 1 to 4.Poudel has called the central committee members of the party for the meeting. The meeting will be held in New Baneshwor.
As the general convention of Nepali Congress is fast approaching senior leaders of the party have been holding meetings on a regular basis. Though Poudel to could vie for the post of the president of the party in the upcoming general convention he has not yet stated that.
Meanwhile, the current president of the party, SherBahadurDeuba, and Vice President BimalendraNidhi have already made public their desire to lead the party.
