The five-party ruling coalition has pledged to continue supporting each other in the upcoming local level election.
Issuing a joint appeal today, the top leaders of the ruling coalition urged all the leaders and cadres of the five parties to forge electoral alliance and move ahead with a spirit of mutual collaboration and cooperation. They also made an appeal for votes for the election.
Stating that the five-party coalition was formed to safeguard the country's democracy, the top leaders promised protection of democratic norms and values in Nepal, and people's freedom and progress. They have declared to move ahead by forging an electoral alliance in the upcoming election for fulfilling the people's needs.
Prime Minister and Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN(Maoist Centre) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CPN (Unified Socialist) honourable leader Jhalanath Khanal, the Janata Samajbadi Party's senior leader Ashok Kumar Rai and Rastriya Janamorcha vice-chairperson Durga Poudel have signed on the joint appeal today.
