CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal has said the Socialist Front is capable of strengthening the ruling alliance.
In his address to a festival reception hosted by the party's district committee in Bhaktapur on Wednesday, the leader claimed that socialist awakening, job creations and promotion of good governance and prosperity were the key priorities of the party. He also stressed the importance of combating corruption and individualism.
The former Prime Minister expressed concern over, what he said, efforts to undermine the Constitution. "Those who seek to take the country towards regression are attempting to disrupt the current ruling coalition."
Bagmati province agricultural minister Dr Rajendraman Shrestha, labor and transport minister Laxman Lamsal, federal lawmaker Durlav Thapa and Unified Socialist leader Guru Prasad Burlakoti highlighted the 'inevitability' of the ruling alliance in the present context. ---
