In a new development the faction of the Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal (JSP) led by Chairperson Mahanta Thakur has decided to vote in favour of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba during the vote of confidence at the House of Representatives (HoR) today.
Lawmaker Uma Shankar Agrariya informed that the lawmakers of the Thakur faction of JSP will vote for Deuba.
Earlier, PM Deuba, who is also the president of Nepali Congress, had written to Thakur seeking his support during the vote of confidence at the House. Agrariya mentioned that based on the request made by Deuba the faction had decided to vote in favour of the prime minister.
Agrariya added the prime minister had also assured them that he would do his best to address the concerns that have been raised by JSP.
