Himalayan Sherpa Club clinched its first victory of the season by defeating Brigade Boys in the ongoing Martyrs Memorial 'A' Division League.
Himalayan Sherpas defeated Brigade Boys (BBC) 3-1 in the first match of the season at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor. Himalayan Sherpa took the lead in the five minutes in the game. Mutamba Pistoni's goal gave Shepa the lead. But Bhuvan Basnet equalized for the BBC in the 53 minute. Suresh Kumal scored another goal for the team in the 74 minute for another lead.
Kumal's shot from outside the box turned into a goal. Manish Thapa was the one who scored the third and the winning goal of the team. With an exciting win, Sherpa has added 5 points from 5 games. Sherpa has risen to ninth place while BBC has dropped to tenth place in the table.
