All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has appointed Kumar Thapa as the head coach of the national women's team for the upcoming SAFF Women's Championship from September 6-19 in Kathmandu.
Former Women's Association President Bindra Dewan has been named as the Team Manager.
ANFA has also formed an 18-member Organizing Committee under the coordination of Senior Vice President Bir Bahadur Khadka for the Championship. All vice presidents and executive committee members will become members of the Organizing Committee.
Similarly, Rabindra Chand has been named as the Venue Manager, Vijay Ghale as Local General Coordinator, and Dinesh Byanjankar as Head of Security for the tournament.
Sanjeeb Silpakar will coordinate the committee for marketing, broadcasting, and digital rights of the regional competition.
The dates of the competition were rescheduled to 6th to 19th September from its initially announced date of August 29 – September 10 by SAFF.
