The first day of Ang Tshiring Sherpa 2nd Memorial Golf tournament tees off on Friday, March 11, Friday 2022. The two-day event at Gokarna Forest Resort, started off with the registration of around 70 golfers at 7 in the morning along with the air hostesses from Yeti Airlines welcoming them.
The inaugural event of the tournament started with Chanda Sherpa, Managing Director of Yeti Group, lighting a lamp followed by the adorning of the image of late Ang Tshiring with a ‘khada’ at 8:00 am followed by a minute of silence in honour of late Ang Tshiring, the avid golfer with a big heart.
After the group photo with Chada Sherpa, and Anoj Rimal, CEO of Yeti Airlines, the tournament then officially started with Chanda Sherpa hitting the first tee.
