Bangladesh's bowler Mahmudullah, right, successfully appeals for LBW to umpire Bongani Jele of South Africa, to take the winning wicket during the One-Day International match between South Africa and Bangladesh at Centurion Park in Pretoria, South Africa

Bangladesh opted to bat first as it aims to clinch a historic first one-day international series win in South Africa in the second match on Sunday.

The tourists won the opening game of the three-match series on Friday, their first ODI success in South Africa, and can clinch the series in Johannesburg.

Bangladesh was unchanged for the second ODI, with captain Tamim Iqbal hoping there’s a double celebration for him on his 33rd birthday.

South Africa made three changes. Quinton de Kock is back at the Wanderers after missing the first game with an illness and allrounder Wayne Parnell and legspinner Tabraiz Shamsi were also brought in. Aiden Markram, Andile Phehlukwayo and Marco Jansen were dropped.
