Closed camp training of the Nepali national women's football team has started from today.
The closed camp training has begun in preparations for the AFC Women Asian Cup-2020 qualifier, said All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Spokesperson, Kiran Rai. Forty-five players have been called for closed training.
Anjana Rana Magar, Anjila Subba, Usha Nath, Sabitri Kishan, Sapana Rai, Renuka Nagarkoti, Hira Bhujel, Rabina Gole, Amrita Jaisi, Srijana Khadka, Nirmala BK, Rajani Thokar, Saloni Rana Magar, Saraswoti Hamal, among others have been called for closed camp training, according to the ANFA .
Nepal is in group 'F' of the qualifier championship. The Philippines and Hong Kong are also in the same group. The qualifier game of the group would be held in Nepal, shared the ANFA. The AFC has scheduled the qualifier match from September 13-25. The top team of the group would play in the Asian Cup scheduled to be held in India next year.
