Rohit Kumar Paudal, the captain of the Nepali cricket team, has complained that the Nepalese Cricket Team has not received all the prize money announced by the government. At the players' farewell in Kathmandu today, he mentioned that the Team had received only 50/60 percent of the awards announced by the government and said that he was confident of getting those awards before the Twenty20 World Cup.
Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, the Minister of Youth and Sports, bid farewell to the Nepalese cricket team that was going to play the Twenty20 tournament in India in preparation for the ICC Twenty20 World Cup. Before the World Cup, Nepal is playing the ACC Premier League in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and SMS Friendship Cup with India's Baroda and Gujarat teams. Ahead of the ACC Premier Cup, Nepal is scheduled to play a friendly match.
The Friendship Cup in India will be held from March 31 to April 7. Nepal will play Gujarat on March 31 and April 3 and Baroda on April 2 and 5.
