Geetanjali college organized the teachers' volleyball tournament 2079 with view to uniting all the educational organizations. In doing so, Geetanjali took initiative like past 3 years, requested all the schools within Kathmandu Valley for this fun event. Teachers are supposed to deliver questions and follow the syllabus. But for the change, it is about friendship, sportsmanship and motivation.
In the final match, Bijeshwori Sainik School defeated Geetanjali School/College with 3 sets to 1 set.
Geetanjali has been organizing this kind of event every year with view to bringing every teachers in one platform. It is to show that teachers can also express their feelings towards sports and life discipline.
Principal of Geetanjali College, Mr. Bed Prasad Panta distributed medals and trophy to the winners and the runner ups. According to Principal, Mr. Panta, all the teachers and educational institutions must act together for the overall development of education & sports in Nepal.
